Vitamin K may have anti-diabetes benefits: Study

Over 350 men and women were randomly assigned to receive a daily vitamin K supplement or placebo for for three years. The men had a significantly lower occurrence of insulin resistance, (a condition which leads to diabetes). This benefit was not demonstrated in the women receiving vitamin K.
