Exercise, Calcium-Rich Diet Could Cut Risk of Metabolic Syndrome

Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of symptoms including: large abdominal girth, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and insulin resistance; which increase the risk for heart disease and diabetes.
A new study shows that regular exercise and eating adequate levels of calcium are associated with decreased risk.
